is located in the North Huvadhoo (Gaafu Alifu) atoll, 400km south of Malé and 56km north of the Equator. Upon arrival into Malé International Airport, an airport representative will greet you and escort you to the Domestic Terminal and assist you with your check in. All domestic transfers are booked by the resort.
From here guests will embark on a comfortable domestic flight, taking between 60 and 105 minutes, depending on the route with 'Maldivian'* to Kooddoo Domestic Airport located in the North Huvadhoo (Gaafu Alifu) atoll.
There are up to 4 daily transfers to and from Park Hyatt Maldives.
Upon your arrival into Kooddoo Domestic Airport, another representative will assist you with your luggage and escort you to the awaiting speedboat for an enjoyable 30-minute transfer to the resort.

The Dhoni
This traditional yet contemporary lounge area in the Maldives is an architectural masterpiece, and the most unique and impressive visual feature of the resort when arriving onto the island. Built by local Dhoni (fishing boat) builders the design of the roof sheltering this magnificent structure is an enormous upturned Dhoni.
FACILITIES
Snorkeling
Within this island's turquoise lagoon - just steps from your villa lies a mesmerizing seascape of vast un-spoilt coral reef and diverse marine life, more abundant and varied than anywhere else in the Maldives. For beginners and those that would appreciate a guided tour of the reef, the Dive and Activity Centre and our own Resident Marine Biologist will assist you with an introduction to snorkeling and personal guided snorkel.
Scuba Diving
You will not find anywhere else in the Maldives where the marine life is so diverse and abundant. Discovering new and un-spoilt dive sites is an ongoing endeavor for our dive team. All levels catered for from beginners to advanced.
PADI COURSES
Discover Scuba Diving
While not an actual scuba certification, during the experience you'll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. In a matter of minutes you will be breathing underwater and marveling at the fish all around you. You will learn some basic skills and safety rules that will carry over when you are ready to take the next step.
Scuba Diver
This is the first step to becoming an independent diver. The Scuba Diver course allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimizing time constraints. Throughout this course you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving. The course includes some knowledge development and confined water dives, followed by two open water dives.
Open Water Diver
This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense fun and adventure. The most widely recognized diving certification, once completed you will have the freedom of diving with a buddy, independent of a professional. The course includes five confined water dives, knowledge development and four open water dives.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Expand you diving knowledge by venturing further and deeper into the underwater kingdom. The course consists of five open water dives, including two specialties of your choosing.
